Konjac Sponge Naturel - Pure, Soft and Without Additives
The mildest Konjac sponge in our range. No clay, no colourant, no additives, only pure konjac fibre from the root of the Konjac plant. Ultra-soft, mildly exfoliating and suitable for the most sensitive skin, including baby skin. Reviewers call it "wonderfully soft on the face" and "fantastic".
Why Naturel?
The Naturel variant is the purest choice in our Konjac sponge range: only konjac fibre, without additives. No clay, no herbs, no colourants. That makes it the mildest option. Ideal if you do not want any extra ingredients on your skin, for the most sensitive skin, or as a starting point if you do not know which variant suits your skin type.
Our other Konjac sponges each contain a different active ingredient (such as red clay, green tea or bamboo charcoal) that adds an extra caring property. Naturel deliberately leaves that out, purity is the strength here.
💡 Not sure which Konjac sponge to choose? Start with Naturel. It is the safest choice for every skin type.
What is a Konjac sponge?
A Konjac sponge is made from the root of the Konjac plant from Asia. The root is dried and processed into a fibre-rich sponge that is naturally soft, mild and lightly exfoliating. In Japan the Konjac sponge has been used for facial care for more than a century, originally for the delicate skin of babies.
How do you use the Konjac Sponge?
- Soak the sponge under running water until it feels soft and flexible (about 1 minute).
- Gently massage over your face and neckline in circular movements, with or without cleanser. The sponge works fine with just water.
- Rinse well after use and squeeze out the excess water.
- Hang up to dry in a well-ventilated spot.
💡 The sponge is hard when dry. That is normal. As soon as you wet it, it becomes soft and flexible again.
💡 Hang the sponge up by its string in a spot with good air circulation, not in a closed bathroom cabinet. That way it dries properly and lasts longer.
💡 Replace after 1 to 2 months. The sponge itself is purely plant-based (konjac root) and can go in the organic waste after use.
