What is a Shampoo Bar?
Shampoo bars are completely natural shampoo in solid form. A bottle of shampoo consists mostly of water; a bar consists only of the active ingredients — plant-based oils, cocoa butter, and essential oils that nourish your hair and scalp. Free from sulfates, parabens, and silicones, so it’s gentle on your scalp.
How to use: lather between your hands and apply the foam to your hair, or rub the bar directly onto wet hair. Leave in for a moment, then rinse.
What is a conditioner bar?
After washing, your hair cuticles are open — leaving your hair vulnerable. A Conditioner Bar seals them back up: less frizz, protection against external influences, and soft, easy-to-comb hair. Made from shea butter, rich in vitamins A and E. One 60-gram bar is equivalent to 2 to 3 plastic bottles of conditioner.
Use: does not lather. After washing, apply to the ends of the hair, leave in briefly, and rinse out.

Since 2019 from our own soap factory in Velsen.
When we started, the range was small and often contained sulfates and parabens. We knew it could be better. We developed our own formulas based on shea butter, cocoa butter, and vitamins — and expanded into body bars, butters, deodorant, and masks. Everything produced zero-waste, in small batches.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does one bar last me?
A shampoo bar lasts for an average of 50 to 60 washes: about the same as three bottles of shampoo. Each product page shows the number of washes and the price per wash.
I don't know which bar or scent suits me.
Start with hair type, not scent. Select your hair type above and you will only see the bars created for it. Still unsure about the scents? Get a sample pack: smaller pieces of multiple scents, so you can test what works on your own hair before buying a full bar.
Do I always have to use a conditioner bar?
Recommended, yes. After washing, your hair cuticles are open; the conditioner closes them again and protects your hair. For short or oily hair, applying it to the ends may suffice. Still unsure? Get a bundle with shampoo and conditioner and try the combination.
How do I store my bar for the longest shelf life?
Keep dry and not too warm. Use a soap dish, a sisal soap pouch, or a clean washcloth so that no moisture soaks into the bar and causes it to fall apart. You can find soap dishes and pouches in the accessories.
Are your products suitable for color-treated hair?
Yes. Our shampoo and conditioner are free of sulfates, which can cause color to fade more quickly. The proteins hydrate and the vitamins from the butters nourish the scalp after coloring — your color stays vibrant for longer.
Does my hair need to get used to a bar?
Sometimes. If you are used to shampoo with silicones, your hair may feel different for one to two weeks while that layer washes out. After that, your scalp will be balanced and you will usually need to wash your hair less often.
Are the bars vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, all our products are vegan and cruelty-free. None of the products or ingredients we use have been tested on animals, and we work without parabens, sulfates, and silicones.
How quickly will my order be shipped?
We ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday via DHL or PostNL.
