A solid hair mask: the same intensive care as a tub of mask, but without plastic and without water. You rub the bar over your wet lengths, leave it in for a few minutes, and rinse it out. One bar lasts a long time because you only use what you need.
Our hair masks are part of the Specialty line: with a premium oil, a type of clay, and three plant-based proteins. There is one for repair, one for hydration, and one for shine and protection — choose the variant that suits your hair, or combine it with the matching shampoo bar.
A regular jar of hair mask consists mostly of water. Ours don’t: you leave the water at home in the shower, which means there is much more oil, butter, and clay per gram. You use them just like a conditioner bar, only more intensively.
All three masks share the same base of shea butter and three plant-based proteins. The difference lies in the premium oil and the clay — and therefore what the mask is best at.
Not sure? Hydrate & Repair suits most people. Dryness is by far the most common complaint, and the other two build upon that.
First, wash with a shampoo bar. Then, rub the mask between your warm hands until a creamy layer forms and distribute it through the lengths and ends — not the roots. Let it sit for five to ten minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
It also works as a leave-in: use a truly minimal amount and distribute it only through the ends of towel-dried hair.
How often should you use a hair mask?Once a week is enough for most people. For dry, colored, or damaged hair, twice a week is fine. If you have fine hair, use it less often — otherwise, your hair may become limp.
What is the difference compared to a conditioner bar?A conditioner bar (€9.95) is light daily care that closes the hair cuticles. A hair mask (€12.95) contains premium oil and clay and works more intensively. Many customers simply use the mask daily instead of a conditioner.
Do I still need a conditioner? Not necessarily. If you use the mask weekly, a conditioner baron other days is pleasant but not required.
How long does a mask last? With weekly use, a mask will last over half a year. Keep it dry on a soap dish, just like your bars.
Is it suitable for curls?Yes, all three are CG-proof. With curly hair, you will often notice the difference the fastest.
