Artisanal Soap

Handmade soap is made and cut in small batches, so every bar is slightly different. The nourishing oils stay in the soap instead of being removed, which leaves your skin softer.

You can: the pH of our soap is suitable for use on the face. How your skin responds does vary from person to person. If a soap suits your body well, it usually works fine on your face too, but sometimes facial skin reacts just a little differently.

If you have sensitive skin, for example with rosacea, choose a mild, fragrance-free version and test it a few times first. Always apply a serum or cream afterwards.

If you are switching from products with silicones, your skin may feel a little tighter at first. That usually goes away within two to seven days. For blemish-prone or very sensitive skin, a product from the face category is a better choice.

Store your bar in a dry spot that is not too warm and out of the stream of water: on a soap dish that can drain or in a soap bag. You will find both among our accessories. A bar left sitting in a puddle of water goes soft and wears out much faster.

A body bar is shower gel in solid form, made with shea butter, mango butter and cocoa butter. It has a slightly richer formula, which makes it suitable for dry or sensitive skin. Because it is soft and easy to cut, you can put a piece in every room.

Handmade soap is made with olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil and castor oil, cleanses a little more firmly and is suitable for every skin type. That soap gets harder as it ages and is easiest to use in one fixed spot, for example by the washbasin. The fragrances change with the seasons, while the body bar fragrances are a permanent part of the range.

With both, your skin needs a little time to get used to their natural character; that tight feeling disappears after a few washes. Have a look at the body bars or the handmade soap.

Solid care products consist almost entirely of active ingredients instead of water, so one bar lasts much longer than a bottle of the same size. You need no plastic bottle and it is light and leak-free to take with you.
