From shampoo bar to plastic-free bathroom
Beesha started in 2019 with one product and one belief: personal care can just as easily be plastic-free. Back then, shelves were filled with shampoo in plastic bottles, and the shampoo bars you could find often came from far away and frequently contained harsh ingredients. We believed it could be done better. So, we got to work ourselves.
What started with a handful of shampoo bars has since grown into a complete range of natural care products: conditioner bars, body bars, natural deodorant, body butter, lip balm, and much more. All 100% plastic-free packaged and shipped — and by now discovered by more than 250,000 satisfied customers.
Handmade in our own soap workshop
Everything we sell, we make ourselves. By hand, in small batches, in our own soap workshop in the Netherlands. This way, we know exactly what is in every bar and keep full control over the quality. We work with natural ingredients like shea butter and cocoa butter, supplemented with vitamins and, where possible, essential oils for a wonderful scent. Our haircare is also pH-balanced, making it mild for your hair and scalp.
Why plastic-free?
An ordinary bottle of shampoo consists mostly of water — packaged in plastic. A shampoo bar contains only the active ingredients. As a result, one bar lasts about as long as three bottles. Better for your bathroom shelf, and especially better for the environment.
