Frequently asked questions about conditioner bars
What does a conditioner bar do?A conditioner bar seals the hair cuticles that are open after washing, making your hair softer, shinier, and easier to comb. It also protects against dehydration.
Does a conditioner bar lather? No, and that’s how it should be. A conditioner bar is not a shampoo — it does not lather. You will feel a smooth, creamy layer on your hair. That is the intention.
How do I use a conditioner bar? After washing, rub the bar over your wet hair a few times, especially over the lengths and ends. Or rub the bar between your warm hands and distribute the cream through your hair. Leave in for 1–2 minutes and rinse out.
How much do I need?Less than you think. Start with 2–3 strokes over your hair and build up. Too much product can make the hair go limp.
How long does a conditioner bar last? One bar (60g) lasts for approximately 140–160 washes — many times more economical than a bottle of conditioner.
Do I need a conditioner bar?Not necessarily, but it helps. A conditioner bar makes a noticeable difference, especially with long, curly, or frizzy hair. Do you have short, healthy hair that doesn't frizz? Then you can try going without conditioner.
Conditioner bar or hair mask?A conditioner bar (€9.95) offers light daily care. A hair mask(€12.95) contains a premium oil and is more intensive — for hair that needs more. Many customers use the hair mask daily as a conditioner substitute.
Which conditioner bars have a silver shampoo effect?
Blueberryand Lavendercontain purple pigments that neutralize yellow tones in gray and blonde hair. Please note: for warmly dyed hair (red, copper), they may mute the warm tones.
Are conditioner bars suitable for all hair types?Yes. Straight, wavy, curly, fine, thick, colored, or gray — all conditioner bars are suitable for every hair type. They are also CG-proof (Curly Girl friendly), vegan, and handmade in the Netherlands.
How do I store my conditioner bar?Store the bar in a dry place on a soap dish with an open base. This will make it last longer. Do not leave the bar sitting in a puddle of water.
