Artisanal Sea Breeze Soap - The Scent of Sea and Summer
Close your eyes, breathe in, and you are at the beach. Artisanal Sea Breeze Soap captures the fresh, salty scent of sea air, watery and ozonic, with a floral heart and a warm, musky base. It is the scent of a summer morning at the coast: fresh, clean, and infinite.
This soap is handmade using the cold process method in our soap workshop in Velsen-Noord. Four nourishing oils—shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil—are saponified cold and then cured for at least 6 weeks. During this curing process, natural glycerin is created and remains in the soap, something that is removed in industrial soaps. That glycerin makes all the difference: your skin is cleansed and hydrated at the same time.

How does Sea Breeze smell?
The fragrance builds in three layers:
🌊 The opening - Watery and ozonic. The fresh, clean scent of sea air and salty breeze. Instantly refreshing.
🌸 The heart - White florals, fruity notes, and a hint of carnation. Gives the fragrance softness and depth, making it not just "fresh" but also floral and refined.
🪵 The base - Woody, musky, and amber. Warm, enveloping notes that anchor the freshness and give the fragrance a mature, sensual base.
The overall impression: not the salty sea itself, but the feeling of a fresh sea breeze on a warm summer morning. Fresh and clean with warm depth.
Sea Breeze vs Ocean Mist: Both are maritime scents, but they smell very different. Sea Breeze is lighter, more ozonic, and aquatic, like the open sea. Ocean Mist is saltier, earthier, and greener. The coast with rocks and moss. Do you love fresh and airy? Choose Sea Breeze. Do you love fresh and earthy? Choose Sea Salt & Moss.
Four nourishing oils
🧈 Shea butter - Hydrates deeply and makes the soap extra creamy and soft on the skin.
🥥 Coconut oil - Provides a rich, creamy lather and cleans effectively.
🫒 Olive oil - Mild, nourishing oil that keeps the skin soft and supple. The basis of every good cold process soap.
🌿 Castor oil - Stabilizes the lather and makes it creamier.
🧴 Natural glycerin - Created during the saponification process and remains in the soap. Attracts moisture and keeps the skin hydrated.
How do you use Artisanal Soap?
- Wet your hands or skin.
- Rub the soap between your wet hands or directly onto your skin until lather forms.
- Massage the lather in and rinse with water.
💡 Tip: Use the soap in a soap pouch. This creates even more lather and makes the soap last longer.
💡 Store the soap dry between uses in a soap pouch or on a draining soap dish outside the shower. Cold process soap is softer than industrial soap and dissolves faster if left in water.
💡 Switching from shower gel to solid soap for the first time? Your skin may feel a little different during the first few weeks. After 1 to 2 weeks, most customers notice that their skin feels softer and healthier than before.

The Sea Breeze fragrance is made with perfume oil. Contains alpha-Hexylcinnamaldehyde, Linalool, Geraniol, and dl-Citronellol as labeled allergens.

When lathering, the scent is quite present, and after rinsing, a soft trail remains. For those who want both fresh and earthy, choose Ocean Mist.
