Why Bamboo Charcoal?

What is a Konjac sponge?

A Konjac sponge is made from the root of the Konjac plant from Asia. The root is dried and processed into a fiber-rich sponge that is naturally soft, mild, and lightly exfoliating. In Japan, the Konjac sponge has been used for facial care for over a century, originally for the delicate skin of babies.

How do you use the Konjac Sponge?

1. Soak the sponge under running water until it feels soft and flexible.
2. Gently massage over your face in circular motions, with or without cleanser. The sponge also works perfectly with just water.
3. Rinse well after use and squeeze out excess water.
4. Hang to dry in a well-ventilated area.

💡 The sponge is hard when dry. That is normal. As soon as you wet it, it becomes soft and flexible again.

💡 Hang the sponge by the string in a place with good air circulation, not in a closed bathroom cabinet.

💡 Replace after 1–2 months. The sponge is 100% biodegradable. Simply throw it in the compost bin after replacement.
