Beesha Aftersun – Six Ingredients, Nothing More
An aftersun balm that does what it’s supposed to: hydrate, cool, and soothe your skin after a day in the sun. With just six natural ingredients: aloe vera juice, shea butter, coconut oil, candelilla wax, vitamin E, and pure lavender essential oil. No water, no preservatives, no synthetic additives.
This is not a liquid lotion; it is a balm in a reusable tin (100g). You warm a small amount in your hands and spread it over your skin. The result: hydrated, soothed skin with a subtle lavender scent.
What's inside?
🌿 Aloe vera juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) – The first ingredient. Real aloe vera juice, not an extract. Cools the skin, hydrates, and supports natural recovery after sun exposure.
🧈 Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) – Rich, nourishing butter that deeply hydrates the skin and restores the moisture balance. Makes the skin soft and supple.
🥥 Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera) – Absorbs quickly and hydrates without leaving a heavy, greasy feeling.
🕯️ Candelilla wax (Euphorbia Cerifera) – Plant-based, vegan alternative to beeswax. Gives the balm its solid form and creates a protective layer on the skin that locks in moisture.
🛡️ Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – Antioxidant that protects the skin and supports recovery after sun exposure.
💜 Lavender essential oil (Lavandula Angustifolia) – Real lavender oil with a calming scent. Soothes the skin and provides a relaxed feeling after a day outdoors.
Contains Linalool as a labeled allergen (derived from lavender essential oil). May contain traces of nuts.
How do you use Beesha Aftersun?
This is a balm, not a liquid lotion. It works differently than what you might be used to.
- Take a small amount of balm from the tin with your fingertips.
- Rub it warm between your hands until an oil-like substance forms.
- Spread over skin that has been exposed to the sun.
- Let it absorb — the balm sinks in, leaving a nourished, hydrated feeling.
💡 Does it feel grainy? This can happen if the balm has melted and solidified again (due to heat). Warming it up in your hands solves this, and it will spread smoothly and evenly.
💡 Store the tin in a cool place. The balm melts at high temperatures (beach bag in the sun, car dashboard). Keep it in the shade or in a cooler bag. When traveling: the tin won't leak, but keep it cool.
💡 Not just after sunburn. Reviewers use it all summer long after every shower as a hydrating body balm: "I use it all summer after every shower and my tan stays beautiful."
💡 Shelf life: 6 months after opening.
Why a balm and not a lotion?
A conscious choice. A liquid aftersun lotion contains water and therefore needs preservatives to prevent bacteria from growing. Our balm contains no water and thus no preservatives, only pure, nourishing ingredients. The tin is 100% plastic-free and reusable.
The downside: it spreads differently than a lotion. You have to warm it up in your hands first. But the upside is that every gram you apply consists of pure nourishing ingredients—no water, no fillers.
