About Beesha
In 2019, we started developing our own shampoo bars. These products were still in their infancy back then and the selection was very small. What was available contained harsh cleaning agents such as parabens and sulfates, or the products were largely imported from the East.
We developed our products in such a way that we can produce them ourselves in our soap factory in Almere. Our products contain natural ingredients such as shea butter, cocoa butter, and vitamins. In addition, we use essential oils as fragrances whenever possible.
We try to set up all our processes to be zero-waste: reducing waste and minimizing our ecological footprint. Every ingredient has been carefully considered. Where does it come from, is it free of microplastics, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, and silicone-free?
Since 2019, I have gathered a whole team around me with various areas of expertise. For example, we have someone who focuses on product development, legislation, and online marketing, and of course a team that produces the products, packages them, and packs all the orders.
All our products are handmade, ensuring the impact on the environment is minimal. Our range has since expanded to include a conditioner bar and body bar. All of these are also plastic-free alternatives to plastic bottles. Our soap accessories, such as our soap pouches, are biodegradable. Our soap dishes are made from sustainable bamboo or mahogany wood.
